Kaedyn Ballew was born a little less than a year ago on September 22, 2009. He weighed in at over 8lbs, and looked to be the picture of newborn health. Kaedyn was walking at nine months and trying his hardest to run a few weeks later. Shortly after this, at the age of ten months, Kaedyn’s mother took him to the pediatrician, as Kaedyn’s cheeks were a little swollen. A few diagnosis’ and a few trips to the emergency room later, Kaedyn was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, which is a cancer of the white blood cells.
